I’m pleased to announce that I’ve finally finished the web-friendly write up of a semester-long project I worked on for a course on Human Information Interaction. For the project, I surveyed members of the Facebook group Sounds like MLM but OK to see how they use information from the group to make decisions in their day-to-day lives, and to get an idea of how they judge if information is trustworthy. You can check out the results by clicking this link or by going to my Portfolio page and checking under the Research heading. The project is entitled Sounds like MLM but OK: Evaluating the Utility and Credibility of Information Encountered in a Facebook Interest Group.
Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be taking advantage of my increase in free time to update my Portfolio. I’ll be adding more information about some of the significant projects I’ve completed over the last couple of years (and beyond!).
