Hi! I’m Katherine

I’m a technical writer and knowledge manager based in Atlantic Canada. On my site, you’ll find my C.V., some cool projects I’ve worked on, and the occasional blog post.

Work experience: I’m currently a technical writer at SpryPoint. Previously, I was the inaugural technical writer at Canadian startup SaaSquatch.

Education: I have a Master of Information from Dalhousie University, where I focused on information management and policy.

Skills & tech knowledge: Whether I’m writing a process guide or API documentation, I take a user-centred and minimalist writing approach. I’ve primarily worked in Agile environments and I’m very familiar with Atlassian products like Jira and Confluence. I’m experienced with Markdown, DITA XML, DocBook, and I’m always interested to learn other tooling!
